Public Sculpture / Sculpture

Blown glass sculpture with a narrative story to tell and a lesson to learn about how someone who is discriminated or left behind feels. Speaks to a social awareness yet is playful in it's sculptural forms. To give a sense of scale, the red forms stand 18" tall and the overall installation spans 8' to 10' long
Colored Mast is a site specific public sculpture, created for the lakeside village of Egg Harbor Wisconsin. The design is based off a ship mast, it's sales and the red and blue colors of boat navigation lights. The playful nature of the design and colors also remind me of arrows, directional markers and yard darts, a game I played as a kid.
Harbor Moon is a site specific sculpture, designed and fabricated for the Public Arts Initiative of  Egg Harbor Wisconsin. Standing 10ft tall its constructed of powder coated steel and  three colors of 3-form resin plastic. The blue wave patterned piece of plastic aligns with the blue waters of Lake Michigan. Like the moon in our sky the sculpture also changes shape and dimension with your vantage point. When you move around the sculpture its shape and perspective moves across the sky.
Custom commission sculpture involving the conceptual design, fabrication & installation. An abstract design of a walking human figure has implied movement as it stands tall. Its finished off with a polished and clear coated aluminum surface finish.
